Nam Theun 1 Power Co., Ltd. (NT1PC), a subsidiary of Phonesack Group Co., Ltd. has been incorporated in February 2016 to develop the 650 MW Nam Theun 1 Hydroelectric Power Project in Bolikhamxay Province.  The Project has been granted a long-term concession by the Government of the Lao. PDR and scheduled to reach the commercial operation date in 2022. Presently, NT1PC is seeking applicants from the qualified Laos candidates for the following positions.

Position: Deputy HR Manager (Base in Vientiane Capital Head Quarter)

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities of the job include

  • Assist to develop and implement HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization.
  • Recruiting staff, which involved developing job description and person specifications, preparing job adverts, checking application form, shortlisting, interviewing and selecting candidates.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process, prepare job adverts, checking application forms, shortlisting, interviewing and selecting candidates.
  • Working closely with various departments, increasing in a consultancy role, assisting line manager to understand and implement policies and procedures; Conducting and analyzing exit interview; Recommending changes.
  • Nurture a positive working environment.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that driver high performance.
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
  • Ensure legal compliance through human resource management.
  • Maintains and develop employee benefits programs and communicate with employees.
  • Liaising with a range of people involved in policy areas such as staff performance, health and safety.
  • Preparing staff handbooks.
  • Undertaking regular salary reviews.
  • Administering payroll and maintaining employee records.
  • Interpreting and advising on employment law.
  • Maintains historical human resource records by designing a filling and retrieval system; Keeping past and current records.
  • Complete human resource operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; Following up on work results.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Develop and maintain the software for HR Management.

 

Qualifications:

  • Age more than 35 and above.
  • Bachelor degree of Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management or related filed.
  • Key skills: interpersonal, decision-making, organizational, leadership and speaking skills; Ability to use human resource management software.
  • Good English communication.
